Do you grow any fruits?

  1. I didn’t know you could grow them in a pot! It’s so cool!! After my apricot tree fell down because of a storm, I wanted to plant a lemon tree, but one day I came home and my grandpa had already planted a plum tree! And its plums aren’t that yummy, we don’t know why. Maybe it’s because I don’t love it xD

    • Yeah I think just while they are still quite small you can keep them in pots. We are keeping them indoors until the weather warms up too! Wow, I would love an apricot tree! Did you manage to save any of it? Maybe he knew your plan and didn’t want lemons haha 🙂 xoxox

      • No, we couldn’t save any of the apricot tree. Poor baby! It had the best fruit… Now I don’t like the apricots I buy at the store :/ It’s a problem xD

  2. This is so cool! 😀 How long does it take to grow one lemon? I only have herbs at home, for my cooking, I do want a cherry tomato plant, but I would need more space! 😀 The tree is just waay cool 😀

    • Thank you! When we brought them there were tiny lemons already developing. We have had it for just over a month now and they are pretty much full grown so not too long. We grow tomatoes during the summer, if you plant them in a pot the don’t take up too much room which is good 🙂 I love growing herbs too, so much fun to grow and use in cooking! 😀 xoxox

  3. That’s so cool! I unfortunately, did not inherit my mother’s green thumb. I only have three plants (none of which are fruit), and the one that requires most attention is an orchid (which I only pay attention to every 1.5 weeks). Growing up, we had plum, fig, pear, and apple trees. My mother now has a kiwi plant also. She did a lot of canning and jam making with the excess. Thanks for sharing 🙂

    • My Mom is the same! She got me into when I was a child (so cool watching them grow from seeds!). Wow your Mom sounds to have a talent in the garden, I would love to grow kiwis! So cool! Thanks for sharing 🙂 xoxox

  4. Will you use your lemons for eating/cooking? I have a full-size lemon tree in the back yard, but I don’t know what to do with them. Maybe since life is giving me lemons, I should make lemonade? 😉

  5. Wow, that’s a good looking lemon tree considering it’s growing indoors. I have one, too, and just wrote a post about it recently, but living in Florida, growing a lemon tree in a pot on the veranda is pretty easy. See mine, if you like at thewalledgarden.me (wordpress). Thanks.

  6. Beautiful lemon tree! I have a very productive orange tree in my yard (so many oranges we don’t know what to do with them all, so usually we just make marmalade!), and we just started a young avocado tree and a young fig tree. Hopefully they will do as well as the oranges one day!
