I will most likely change a few things in the recipe. Check back for an update on how mine come out later in the week.

Will you be using this recipe for pancake day? Let me know how your pancakes come out tomorrow!

  1. Is Pancake Day a British tradition? Do tell! (Perhaps it’s a version of Mardi Gras? We’re having King Cake today–a New Orleans thang. Not because we’re from Louisiana but because it’s fun!)

    • Yes, I just looked it up and it is to do with Mardi Gras. It is shrove tuesday where you use up all of the ‘fatty’ ingredients (such as butter and eggs) as traditionally during lent people never used to eat these foods. Thanks for the question, it also helped me learn something new!
A cake day sounds delicious! I think I might had to start celebrating that too! When is it? Any excuse for cake haha πŸ˜‰ xoxox

      • Ha! I was just looking for that answer as i had never heard of it! We do Kings Cake here in MontrΓ©al too only on the 6th of jan (i did a post on a it :-)).
I’ll do a pancake day in my house on saturday thinking of you! Hehe!
