These are some flowers my Dad brought for my Mom. They are so lovely and colourful I had to take some pictures to share! I edited a few of the pictures by blurring the edges for a softer look. I used iPhoto.
I do love a good zombie book and this one definitely fit the bill. It is a short novella (52 pages) so I finished it in a couple of nights.
The novella follows the stories of 5 people during a zombie apocalypse. Their stories fit together well making a short but enjoyable read. The author is apparently turning the novella into a full novel due to its popularity and I would definitely consider buying it.
The book was free when I downloaded it but it is now 77p on the Kindle Store. If Williams is writing a novel based on this novella it might pay to wait for the full version. However, if you want a quick enjoyable read this book definitely fits the bill.
Yes I finally did it! I tried the caviar manicure!
I have to say it is so weird. It only lasted on my nails for just over a day and a half as it felt so weird and little balls kept dropping off my nails all the time! It looked so cool but I think I would only use it again for a night out or special occasion. They are too high maintenance for everyday.
Here are some pictures:
I used nail caviar from Claires Accessories (purchased at Clothes Show Live). Possibly more expensive caviar would last longer and feel nicer on your nails?
What do you think? Have you tried nail caviar? Do you like the look of it?
I was nominated for a lovely blog award! After a long search of trying to find the history I found that it is quite a mysterious award with little known about the origin. Do you know where/how this award started?

My Aunt visited from Wales a few weekends ago and brought me a big box of nail goodies! Here is a picture of it all:
I cannot wait to test it all out!
- A nail dryer
- Lots of different polishes
- Nail foils with adhesive and top coat
- Nail stamps
- Nail art pens
I couldn’t wait to test it out so I had a go with some of the foils. They are really good fun! I had never seen or heard about them before. You add the adhesive, leave it for a few minutes them rub on the foil and add a topcoat.
Have you tried them before? What did you think?
Here’s how they looked:
Thank you so much for this massive box of goodies!
I went to see Sutra at the theatre which was amazing. It features Chinese buddhist monks from the young age of 10 performing a mix of kung fu, tai chi martial arts using simple boxes. If you haven’t heard of them you should look them up on YouTube. They are mesmerising.
This weekend my boyfriend and I visited Stratford Upon Avon. The weather was not great but we had a fun weekend. I will post about it soon!
I was nominated for another award! And from one of my favourite bloggers! Evez from Gesundheit, Suze! Thank you so much, I love your blog!
